>>Thoughts on the Gen 9 reveal?cautiously optimistic. Visuals aren't as asstastic as SWSH and PLA, but they aren't the best either. Gameplay wise remains to be seen, but it's listing as a pure RPG and not action one like PLA has me worried. Shit like Balm throwing doesn't need to come back, but if overworld catching and being able to throw your partners at shit on the overworld is gone, I dunno if I'll get it. At the very least activating battles where they start is now standard, so I'm not completely lost on hope.
Also the starters are cute, first lineup since Gen 4 I haven't seen one I immediately disliked. Let's hope the final evos follow through.
