It's a personal thing, so It's hard to explain, but in short, shinies are only as valuable as their owner sees them to be. Instacheck (and I guess possibly Bank too) wont stop people hunting shinies. It may kill the Shiny Trade threads, as people will be less likely to want to trade when shinies can be easily obtainable, or hacked in, but Hunt threads should be fine.
