Did you know the Ash-Greninja theme for 3DS sold WAY more than the fucking Red vs Blue Original theme? A shitton of people like that frog. The same can not be said of Delphox and Chesnaught. Just so you know, the only early Greninja toy was sold right alongside the Delphox and Chesnaught equivalents. I'll leave it up to you which one sold nearly 5 times more even before the Smash announcement. Do you seriously think Gamefreak and their associates will sit down and think:
