>>50639924>>50639958The point is that if Sugimori had simply copied 1:1 Nishida's designs for the official art which went on to be designs we know and love, those would not be nearly as well received as they are being that he redesigned them majorly. It's pretty stupid to disregard Sugimori's role on the creation of those mons and entirely credit Nishida when all she did were just some incredibly rough pixel sketches
