I love the sheer juxtaposition present in his design. His colors are the inverse of his pre-evos; his evolution method is friendship, and yet he maintains an angry expression. Just to add to this, he preforms very well in battle. He's fast as all hell and has the offensive and defensive capabilities to stand his ground. His unique typing makes him stand out from a crowd, and he single-handedly saved the Zubat line from mediocrity.
Put simply, he is a shining example of a good Pokemon.
