they hate how they got more screen time than their character, they hate them because of how
much more they got, even though in the end serena arguably did more than all of them(growth-wise). they are infuriated that Dawn was there for Ash in the end and that she stole something that never belonged to serena in the first place.
everyone and their fucking mom can see that xy was an outlier in the overall series, it went against a lot of what was already established in the former season and ignored the guidelines that were already established. We know from JN that almost every event in xy either plot, story, characters, romance, etc is questionable at best. AG is gone serenas crush was either retconned or she outgrew it. they know that serean already got a goodbye in JN and that she probably won't appear again ever( I hope so) they intentionally paired her with May who can never return because of her VA and either knowingly or not gave them fagflag colors. they know that their game is over and they lost. The funny thing is if they really like serena they should be happy because of how much she had grown since we last saw her but they are not, they only care about the ship, and most of them probably did not even watch xy, to begin with, they probably don't even watch pokemon.
Ash and serena had the worst chemistry out of any pair.
