Ostrizising members of a group that don't fit into that group and act as a functioning member of it isn't something I would really consider part of the human condition, and I could see Pokemon (and humans, if you're not going full PMD) still expecting you as a Pokemon to behave/think a certain way.
I agree with you that monetary pressure would be gone since that's not really something a Pokemon concerns itself with.
Of course, you could likely live in isolation much more easily as a Pokemon in the Pokemon world than as a human in ours, but that brings along the pressures of survival.
It's interesting to think about, nonetheless, and I hope OP will chime in with what he was thinking!
