They make the most off any new Pokémon release (apart from their 1/3rd share of TPC's profits and publisher's cut of Game Freak games sold, they get sole profits from any consoles sold alongside the games - it's partly why they always release a SE unit along with every game, gotta sell dem consoles to boost profits). TPC make money, but TPC doesn't see profits, that's passed off to Creatures, Game Freak and Nintendo, they just take operating costs and budget out of revenue and repeat their actions for the year.
Where did this meme of "it's all tpc's fault" start anyway? Nintendo have always been the entity that funded Game Freak games and they've always desired Pokémon to release games as soon as they possibly could.
