Well, games i kind of liked at first for the Switch were:

Sure there some other games im bit interested on like the new Fire Emblem, Metroid Prime, Pokemon and Smash but im not really a bit fun of FF and Smash seems like will be a port. As for Pokemon and Metroid, i would have to watch a trailer before deciding to buy them. Nothing really stands out for me

The only reason I bought a 2DS in 2016 after selling all my consoles in 2012 was to play Pokemon SM because everyone was hyping it up as the definitive Pokemon games. In the end, i never bought SM and despite being a bit hype for USUM i still didn't buy it because they seem mediocre as fuck

I skipped the ORAS meta because uni was limiting my time. I just got done transferring all of my Y Pokemon to Sun and Moon. Obviously there's no going back now, but I heard that the ORAS move tutor provided some pretty significant options for a few Pokemon, namely Greninja.

Is Timid Protean Greninja still solid? Is there anything else I should be aware of that would affect the Sun and Moon meta? And do I need a copy of ORAS for any reason?

I hated how "on rails" the islands are set up but they do look 10x better then anything in X and Y. It was almost like an amusement park of biomes. Poni island and Mount Lanakila were rushed, Poni island was way too small, i enjoyed the idea of the island being all nature with almost no civilization but it's just small. Lanakila should of been the last trial which lead you to the Pokemon league but they fucked that up too.
