>>50360108On a scale from piss to shit, how’s this?
Context/Notes:
>Meant to be Kanto with Megas, cross-gens, and regional variants + the post-game six from Johto >Tried to keep close to in-game teams, but eliminating repeating Pokémon. Aware I failed at some points. >Gmaxes in as Megas. Mega X for starters/Gengar (meaning type changes), Mega Z for Charizard. >Unrelated to enemy teams, but thinking of putting variants in the safari zone and having Kanto ‘Mons more in the wild >Tried to keep regionals feel rarer, so that’s why only E4 have them. Agatha and Lance having off-types is from necessity but also to show they’re more experienced and bend the ‘rules’ they excel in >Giovanni’s shiny Steelix is to make him feel more ‘sophisticated’ - its golden symbolising his power and greed. Also meant to bookend with Brock and his Onix. >Don’t know if Erica is overboard for something that isn’t particularly meant to be difficult. Maybe Weepinbell instead? >Blue is very samey with Lance. 2 or 3 the same, even if two have different forms. >It feels very OMG CHARIZARD. 3 fucking Megas, each used by a trainer. In rematches Misty and Erika would use the other two, but you won’t see that going thorough. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe make Megas a thing just before/after Giovanni - teams would resemble their FRLG iterations more.
