>>36693682I'm actually partially on board with you on this one. I don't mind animated rocks or metals, because ghosts and magic basically exist in the pokemon world, and it's more common in fantasy to have golems or posessed objects.
But, I cannot stand pokemon that have specifically human-exclusive traits to them. Gardevoir, Jynx, Meloetta and more with long hair and a dress. Primarina with hairbands and necklaces. Sawk and Throh with fighter outfits. I'll accept their existence but when it comes to my own enjoyment of Pokemon I never can see those humanoids in the wild and feel them as part of a living, breathing ecosystem. Where, in contrast, the more animalistic designs that are far removed from human influence work so well together.
