The episode wasn't inherently bad. It presented a problem with a Pokémon, had a good buildup, and had a good resolution. I thought I'd be excited seeing Briar and Perrin in the preview, but I just...feel nothing.
I also blame the "other /padt/" for this as their version over there is so horrid that I have to block it whenever I browse the place. It's good to see this /padt/ is still civil and relatively unchanged in terms of how people conduct themselves.
