none of their remake versions are "watered down", and the incentive would be the much older gen, and it definently is much older, with the added features of the current gen we're in
frlg isnt watered down, hgss isnt watered down, oras, though not "good" is not good because rse was not "good"(people seem to glance over this part)
i have basically no doubt that a dppt remake would be good as long as they dont blatantly put their worst dev team into the directing seats, but why would they?
