Even though it is a mediocre remake, at its core it's still Hoenn, one of the strongest regions in the franchise. Coupled with the great WiFi options, and generational enhancements, ORAS will probably looked fondly at by younger Pokemon fans.
And it should, considering as a package, it's BW1 tier. A pretty solid game, held back by its potential to be something greater.
