People want easy information, and no matter how we lament it, the truth is that this is a reflection of our values, we (as a society) WANT these easily accessible sources of information. Why check 3 different sites for something when you can just go on one? I wouldn't be surprised if efficiency will be considered a modern sin of some sorts. It's up there with gluttony imo. It's just to tempting.
