Trev was vulnerable to mages before and hated being CC to hell but now it has to deal with all-rounders who have more sustain+higher damage that melts through Trev. Even using Curse in a scuffle can be a death sentence because you may end up dead before getting the reset for the 2nd horn leech with how much burst the meta has.
