>>43158351Japanese curry is kind of unusual, because it's more like a thick, slightly sweet stew than Indian or even Chinese curries. It does have some spice, but it's usually pretty mild from my experience. Katsu curry is great, though, because you get to have curry that has a breaded chicken cutlet dumped on top of it. I don't have the most amazing spice tolerance, but I do like some of the moderately spicy curries, like a good madras or rogan josh.
