Great coverage moves in her Special Attack movepool, and Dragon Dance if you want to go down the Physical route. I get that she's not the hardest-hitting right off the bat, but she'll soak up hits all day long and fire back with usable attack. Even moreso if you bolt on Cotton Guard.
Altaria gets a bad rap.
