no one likes this thing, but it rarely shows up on hated Pokemon lists despite filling every nearly reason for way pokemon are hated
The entire idea of baby Pokemon has a massive problem of just being weaker version of Pokemon that already exist. However looking at the game from a perspective of dex completion, I respect the idea of having some Pokemon that require breeding to be obtained.
And some Pokenon are strong enough that getting a weaker stage is warranted.
Too bad Igglybuff doesn't work even when taking that above into consideration
>Adds nothing conceptually to the line, it’s just Jigglypuff without ears and slightly smaller
>Red eyes look creepy, combined with its pink skin it makes me think of an aborted fetus, meaning Igglybuff fails at its only job of looking cute
>it’s name is embarrassing to say
>Crystal has the odd Egg which gives you a random Gen2 babymon. This is actually useful because most of the evolved forms of these babies can only be caught far later into the game. However Jigglypuff can be found just outside the daycare where you get the odd egg. Even more ridiculous in GS you can get Jigglypuff right near the first route of the game!
>due to technological limitations Gen2 had the unique problem of only having 100 slots for new Pokémon. we could have gotten anything: another dragon or ghost type, a evolved form of one of the single stage gen2 pokemon, that Fire/water seal, a for superpowered form for unown. was igglybuff really needed?
>Constantly shilled while the Gen 2 starter get nothing. (Imagine if Hoenn Pokemon rarely showed up in Hoeen, Hoenn starters were actively sabotaged with shit movepools, shit abilities, and shit stats so that they don't overshadow KANTOOO, got no merch, skippd over of megas, erased from Gen 8, Blaziken never got to appeared in the anime, and instead the lions share of Hoeen shilling when to fucking Azurill
tdlt. Fuck Iggybuff
