Ecruteak is free at last! Hopefully they don't hold the shiny hunt against me...
The Burnt Tower battle against Boba (my rivals name) was pretty easy, and the gym battle went fine, Chris' Faint Attack ripped the gym a new one. It also helps i collected a Mint Berry for him to hold in case Hypnosis went off vs Gengar, and i did switch into Gaebora to ward off Curse from Gastly. Pops evolved while i was grinding, getting Rain Dance at the same time, so that's great!
And now, after far too long, the lore!
>Ecruteak City, the largest base of operations for Team Rocket, aside from Goldenrod, in Johto. Losing the city would be a huge blow to their plans, and our heroes are eager to inflict such a blow. Alan, Chris and Gaebora march into the gym while the rest provide a distraction. Chris' new Faint Attack makes short work of the Gastly (who spited their masters by Cursing themselves) Haunter and Gengar that populate the gym. After the fighting is done and the grunts arrested, Gaebora reveals a vision: Logan's past lies under Mahogany Town, inside the old Rocket base. Unfortunately for Logan, patrols of Rocket grunts and admins lurk route 42 and beyond, stronger than our heroes can match. The decision is made to travel west towards Olivine (and with how often Amphy got sick, Alan suspected Cianwood City would be next), but they musy be wary. Team Rocket is now aware of and actively hunting the group, and the journey grows more treacherous than ever.>>52341928Some people do, but playing with it helps variety, and you're not weak to certain gyms because you got unlucky and ran into 3 Pidgy's in a row.
>>52343003People like to shit on the rodents, but i find them to be the one of the deadliest wild encounters. Bidoof especially is not to be fucked with, it counters most of the Sinnoh early game.
>>52344627>EXP Share>HarderI contest that. Maybe only in the sense that you have to swap out party members to keep from overleveling, but that's more annoying than hard.
