All the money needs to flow into the pockets of the game devs. Not a single bit of value should be granted to the players. If they let players trade easily, that makes it a lot easier for gray markets to be created. They will exist regardless, just like they do in Pokemon Go, but they are also a pain in the ass to actually profit from because of the heavy restrictions.
It's literally a worse version of NFTs. You pay for jpegs and you can't even flip those jpegs to the greater fool in the end. All your jpegs get wiped when the servers eventually close down and the only thing you have after all the time and money you spent is an app icon on your phone that opens up to a server error.
At least shitty ass Bored Apes are unironically still worth ~$35,000 for the ugliest ones after dying and being burned to the ground. Shows how retarded collectors are.
