I just beat the psychic gym though with this team:
BABY SHARK (sharpedo lv 40 - died for a good cause)
SUCKYCHAN (lv 38 crobat, didn't show his face)
ZapEmPence (lv 41 magneton, didn't make an appearance but could have cleaned up in emergency)
MUD BOY (lv 43 swampert, the tank and sweep assist)
AAAmyTAIL! (lv 39 girafarig, clutch member here)
Lil' John (lv 44 banette, the sweeper)
Story time:
>formulate strategy for tough ass psychic gym>fortunately catch a sharpedo and girafarig for psychic resist>train them up until sharp learns taunt >girafarig has agility, double team, baton pass, shadow ball>train shuppet to lv 44 to get shadow ball before he evolves>imready.png>turn 1 crit earthquake blows sharpedo away but he gets off the taunt limiting xatu to 1 calm mind>start setting up evasion boosts with girafarig but go out to swampert to tank and heal him>both members get into red multiple times before I successfully get up 3 double teams>go for agility and earthquake still hits, girafarig lives on 2 HP>ITS TIME>baton pass to banette>shadow ball sweep through his entire team without taking a hit while spamming surf with swampert to finish them offIt was fucking glorious and it almost completely fell apart. Most memorable gym battle in years.
