Alright, post-Morty update.
With the death of Sunstroke (Numel) I had an empty spot in my team, and so Severa left the box. It took a while to grind her from level 14, but god damn she's a monster. My first time using an Arbok and I love her.
Bruce finally evolved, and his speed is definitely going to make him a mainstay for times to come and should hopefully rape Chuck.
Biggest props have to go to Jaws, though. Mother of god, she managed to solo Morty like the absolute champ she is. My body went in knots when I read "Gengar used Thunderbolt!" but she just shrugged it off with about 40% HP remaining. Agility + Crunch + DAT ATTACK STAT left Ecruteak Gym shaking. Sister for life.
My first nuzlocke, and I definitely see the appeal. I've had some heartache but that payoff is huge.
