The dex cut was somewhat of an issue, but dexfaggots grew annoying when they kept on bashing each time GF added more stuff to look up for in the trailers.
Then the dexfaggots began endlessly spamming on issues that have been long-time in the series and were widely known (non-scale models, multi-hit animations, etc). That attitude made long-term fans turn on dexfaggots.
Eventually dexfaggots realized they were losing and they completely flipped out associating everything on gen 8 with being bad, (G-max? shit, new mons? shit, Wild area? shit, Raids? shit, etc.) shitting on every addition, despite that designs and gimmicks are similar to previous entries.
But the final nail in the coffin was the hoax that SwSh bricked consoles & melted SD cards. By that point boycott movement became irremediable trash.
