I copypasted an "!" from both dialogue boxes and stuck them next to the message, but elevated.
Note how the first statement is so close to the top of the box's border, you can only fit a half of an exclamation point between it and the edge.
Meanwhile in the second image you can fit almost an entire exclamation point.
There is, in fact, a size difference between the two fonts, OP at least tried. But he didn't try hard enough, and it's clear from looking at the two that the game would have to generate fonts of two different sizes and/or alignments in the dialogue box to get this kind of result.
OP rused us. I'm not gonna lie, I was rused too. He got us good.
