From what we’ve seen the game varies wildly in quality and it’s retarded to try and pinpoint whether you’ll buy it or not at this point.
The towns look great and some of them are impressive in their scope, the dragon town in particular looks fucking massive while the routes and wild area look like dogshit and genuinely look PS2-tier some of the time.
Sometimes the animations look great, especially the animations on some trainers and Scorbunny while other times they’re taken straight from the 3DS and look terrible.
This is subjective but from where I’m standing the music seems fairly split too. Sometimes it fucking slaps, I’m a big fan of Bede’s theme, but the you have stuff like the Gym Leader theme which gives me flashbacks to X and Y’s gym leader theme, and that’s not a compliment.
