A lot of CGE's required you to trade and weren't accessible during the main play through otherwise, which isn't necessarily bad, just unnecessary. Baby Pokemon were downright retarded and tedious, but they're cute as fuck so it's a mixed bag. All the incense shit and whatever other methods were really pointless.
