>>53218573>How hard would it be to catch Route 1 mons? Cave, water, forest encounters? Pseudos assuming you can find them?I’d say route 1 mins are pretty easy, just a case of making friends with a very intelligent wild animal. I actually think in general most Pokémon would be quite friendly to humans, and it would less be a case location but of the age of the Pokémon. Obviously some old alpha Tyranitar is gonna be harder to make friends with than a newborn larvitar.
>Would (you) find a Pokémon useful in your current job?I’m a soldier so yes, anything with protect or reflect would be good, as well as any psychic types to detect the presence of others or whatever. I think I’d prefer a Pokémon as a friend though in my personal life, maybe something relatively small and inoffensive. I have my favourites but desu I’d be able to be friends with any Pokémon that I had the luck to bond with. A Riolu would be cool though, small, active, I Ivor dogs and it’s probably my favourite mon.
>Do all Pokémon speak the same language? To what extent can they communicate with humans?Yeah I’d say it’s pretty instinctual. They can understand anyone, even if they speak a different language and it’s just humans who are (mostly) deaf to it. I think all the relevant exceptions have already been mentioned in this thread.
>How do trainer battles handle the concept of the victor being awarded cash? How does it affect the economy?Tradition, small change like $20 bets for the most part, and then bigger bets for gyms and league battles or actual competitions. I don’t think you make enough off battles to live as better than a travelling trainer like Ash unless you actively seek out high level battling opportunities.
