>>32235059I'm not saying MTG hasn't been degenerate in the past(Urza's Legacy combo winter and Caw Blade come to mind), but standard has been pretty balanced for the past couple years, outside a few hiccups(Collected Company). The problem right now is that standard sucks so fucking bad right now after some bannings, and is currently a two deck format with Saheeli combo and Mardu vehicles, which is part of the reason I got back into Pokémon. Modern is great, though, and so is legacy, but there's not a ton of tournament support for the latter these days. Hopefully Amonkhet can fix the standard issue.
