The map of Alola (having 4 distinct islands) was originally exciting, but the environments are less detailed than say Hoenn’s tropical setting once you actually play the game.
The new Alola Pokémon are all great, except the Ultra Space which felt like it was tacked on late. All the ultra space holes at the end with the alien civilization, feels like they wanted to make a completely different game that was never fully realized.
