My dad was nice enough to drive me to the ones at ToysRUs, the mystic ticket event at Comicon, and even up the coast to the 10th anniversary event. The mystic ticket event was wireless like the later Gamestop events for the DS games and even had a wonder card, but ToysRUs mew and 10th anniv stuff was linked with special cartridges that had mew/celebi/10th anniv on it. I also had the luck to run into a guy there who had the eon ticket and an e-reader.
