Plus there's Gigantimax Cinderace to consider. And the fact that he needs Cinderace for the Dex. Maybe Go gets all the starters this arc.
It's unusual but I don't think this is something they decided to do on a whim. There's a plan and 2019 has been mostly good so far. Unless the episode fucks it somehow, I think it'll be fine.
