Gen 4 had amazing evolutions that are better than their preevolutions in both design and gimmicks. The only ones that have a bad design are Rhyperior because there are a lot of posibilities to execute the idea of its design and Lickilicky because it would be worked better as preevo/we know proto-Lickilicky (and this doesn't mean it's actually a bad design). The rest you can like it more or less, but all of them are improvements of forgotten Pokémon and made them all more endearing.
Pic not related yet, but I predict a fiasco because I want a train and I'm sure we will get something like Klink line.
