- Putting (the Pokemon's) exact stats in the OP so people can be a bit more aware of what to look for; I usually do this but I would've thought that 'Shiny Cresselia' was identifying enough.
- Instructing people to level up their (shitmon) a bit so it would make searching easier.
- Using another Pokemon altogether; however, when I had older giveaway threads that did a pick your own 'mon to put on the GTS it was very jumbled and some Pokemon are not GTS friendly or seem to vanish and are extremely difficult to search for.
- While my posting wasn't as bad as other OPs who do this, it was troublesome to keep having to interrupt like that to post about small dumb things.
- Being more strict about who gets what and how people needed to follow instructions a bit more closely. The 2nd post of this thread is when I mentioned the mishap with what people needed to exactly type in the GTS comment. I also got strayed with my frustration and just answering to everything at the very end, including to lurkers.
- Putting a note in the OP for people to read the damn thread. On that coin: Identifying a bit more, maybe. I don't like to namefag
And especially:
- Emphasize 'patience' a bit more. I know there's a whole lot of you posting in several giveaway threads at once OR immediately back to back OR biting at the bullet to get to another giveaway in general but... why would you do this all at once? You may not make all OPs frustrated but I sure as hell did, Pokemon sniping not withstanding. Thank you to those who were completely chilled out though.
