Well, since Riptide died, I brought Dewgong onto the squad. Was considering Gyarados, but I think Pinniped's ice typing will help later with Claire and Lance. Also he had a nice nature compared to Gyarados's Mild.
Just hope I don't have any more deaths through the Goldenrod Rocket bullshit. Mostly scared of Ariana. I hope Amphy can handle her Honchkrow.

I guess its just a difference of playstyles, in the end. Honestly, I'll probably be switching out mons constantly when I get to the most challenging portions of my run. I can't imagine beating Photonic Sun without bringing counters to the bullshit it'll dish out.
