I think Hugh was actually a decent character. I know they haven't done the whole asshole thing for a couple of gens, but its refreshing from when the only reason you see them is they only care about beating you and when they lose, run off and offer nothing else, it just makes me pity them more than feel good beating them. It was also kind of nice that his main goal wasn't to just beat the champion and take down a criminal organisation to get back what was stolen from him. Not many of the rivals that were 'friendly 'actually offered as much as he did it when it came to taking them down and some of them, the assholes in question, preferred to hold you back instead of trying to stop a large criminal organisation just for the sake of being a stubborn cunt of trying to get one on you, it just shows how low they've sunk.
