If Phoebe and Wikstrom will keep their passives in their eventual Champion Stadium battles like Will does with Impervious Xatu, stuff like Lillie, MC Solgaleo and both N will find use for Ghost-weak Dusknoir and Aegislash and Fire-wesk Aegislash for faster clears while other Sun fire spam with Leon and Red or Rain with Archie & friends will take longer, not to mention the eventual stall teams being used for those battles.
This is the reason those Piercing Blow and signature attacks ignoring passives seem to be so hindered in tems of power.
DeNA think about these useful passives but rarely implements battles to showcase them outside Legendary Arena. Same for Impervious and specific stats drop immunities in general, more present than Vigilance but also lacking.
