>>19928931In Pokemon Y? Yep. I started with Froakie as I knew Greninja was water/dark. I was happy that there FINALLY is a starter with dark type. Once I got started I had to repeatedly stop and make myself carry pokemon that weren't dark types and even then the dark ones are still my favorites.
It's clear I'm just a dark type person. Almost all my pokemon have been caught at night with a few caught near dusk as the exceptions. I find fairy types deeply disturbing except for clefairy/clefable because I figure at least they are also moon worshipers.
When even your legendary is a dark type it's clear you have specialized. By the way: triple battle with Yveltal and a dark team. It's the only way to use that bird correctly!
Before there was a dark type I tended to collect ghosts and psychics, especially Hypno. I have just always gravitated towards "dark" pokemon.
