I like a lot of Gen 8 designs desu. I know the /vp/ hivemind is quick to shit on newer Gens but I really feel like they did a good job appealing to every type of person with the Galar Dex.

The Gen 8 Dex is honestly probably my favourite Dex since Gen 2, and I'm willing to die on that hill. I also love the overarching British theme which helps to tie the Dex together. It's the first time a Dex has felt coherent rather than just a bunch of random designs thrown together.
Overall, many of the designs may not appeal to you specifically, but there is for sure a few Pokémon you can pick out as new favourites. There's something for everyone in the Galar Dex, which is what makes it good.
