i went and got a glimmet (which is like a 1% catch rate in this game, because of course, fuck you, and also a low spawn rate, and the first five i found were corrosion instead of toxic debris) because i was hoping the smeargle would count as grounded before the instantaneous ho-oh transformation
if that didn't work i was honestly just going to drop this shit, and i'm still just stopping for now
