You'd think Niantic would bring out all the cool cups and add balance changes to allow for a more playable PvP-scene, since people would rather stay inside than go out and catch a Pidgeot, but either Niantic didn't understand the impacts of making Noctowl, Pelipper and Gliscor big threats, or they just didn't care and just wanted to spice up region championships without considering the overall impact for anyone that didn't want to farm for Shadow Gligar a year ago.
Even then, might just be that I'm still a bit green to GBL, but this recent cup rotation looks disgusting. Fighting Cup Remix is a disaster for anyone trying to have fun rather than just winning with the meta, Holiday Cup seems like it will be dominated by the handful of people that were able to get good Amauras from Research Day or the wild for PvP. and Electric Cup will just be a mix of mud slingers, Galvantula and Hisuian Electrode. Love Cup mind be okay as long as I don't see too many Lickitungs, but even the last-lvl. 30 tryhards I know have built up lvl. 40+ ones for Great League.
