My first game promptly ended when I tried to get Lugia as soon as I found the Whirlpool HM.
Tried to make it through the cave without Flash.
Got lost obviously, and saved, thinking I would be able to get out later.
Three painful days of staring at a black screen and hearing the bump sound effect for hours, I finally restarted.
I was playing Gold too, so I wouldn't have even been able to catch the damn thing, because I didn't have the silver wing.
