Not too long ago I started a Pokemon Crystal Nuzlocke on the emulator on my phone as something to do at work, I picked Cyndaquill and started my journey unaware of the friend I was about to make.
The first Pokemon I caught on the run was a Sentret "Not this faggot" I thought to myself, oh how wrong I was, I named him Towelie. I taught him swift when I got the TM, and from that moment everything changed. Me and my boy Towelie swifted everything to death. Nothing could stop us and he soon evolved into a Furret.
We made it all the way to Clair together, a few pokemon had died, a few more caught. but Towelie was still going strong. while battling the dragon trainer he took a hard hit "One more turn and I've won". A hyper beam took my friend. For the first time ever I was genuinely sad that a pokemon had died on a nuzlocke. Releasing him hurt more than any other.
I'm currently clearing out Kanto's gym leaders, but I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna beat red ontop of Mount Silver... For Towelie.
