Why do people pretend classic megaten or even current megaten is harder than shit like radical red hardcore? You can't event call radred RNG based because the RNG is decentralized and can't really be cheesed. The only megaten game as hard as radred is nocturne hardtype and that in itself is a romhack. Classic megaten is also a braindead stunlock fest most of the time. Recommend something like Romancing Saga 2 or Tactics Ogre if you want to be epic about tough RPGs (they are both great btw).
