Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let's Go Eevee.
Launching Worldwide November 16th, 2018.
This is a reimagining of the first Generation of Pokemon. The 'default' names of your characters are Evan and Courtney, but character customization is maintained. Red and Blue are trainers you will encounter throughout your playthrough of the game and have their own motives and story. Red will help you fill your Pokedex throughout the story by giving you materials and equipment, Blue challenges you to battles anytime he gets the chance in an attempt to get stronger.
Parts of the Kanto region are changed, Cycling Road, Seafoam Islands, Power Plant, and Mt.Moon get large overhauls looking almost nothing like their previous designs. Saffron City now has a large battle stadium, the Game Corner in Celadon has been transformed into arcade. The Safari Zone now allows you to use your own Pokemon to weaken the opposing Pokemon, but you will be kicked out if you faint a wild Pokemon inside the Safari.
Eevee gets two new evolutions, Flying and Fighting. Pikachu and Raichu get base stat increases. There are a few regional variants of Unova Pokemon. Kanto starters can be obtained in ways similar to how they would be obtained in Pokemon Yellow.
Capturing Pokemon has been modified, berries can be used to increase capture rate, but will restore HP and heal status conditions of opposing Pokemon under certain circumstances. Pokeballs can optionally be thrown via the touchscreen or Joycon motion controls. The balls will not miss, but depending on how they are thrown, it can increase or decrease the chances from a regular ball throw. Legendaries recieve stat boosts similar to Totem Pokemon upon battling making them more difficult to battle and catch.
