Learning the proper technique. Curveballs add a 1.7x multiplier.
Stack with 2.5x from golden razz, ~1.5x from great throws to ~2x from excellent throws, and 1.3x from gold type badges (with the Dratini event just gone, you should be at least silver.)
Get your throws right and your chances stack up and increase up to between 8x to 10x.
