>>47797522Your logic is completely backwards. There's no way Nintendo would tell the dev responsible for the biggest IP in the world "no" to a delay when they literally tossed out two whole years of devwork to let Retro restart MP4's development from the ground up. Do you not have any financial sense at all? Metroid has never sold anywhere close to Pokemon's numbers. This is why I keep bringing it, because Nintendo's willingness to eat development costs to delay games that won't even make a fraction of what Pokemon makes is proof that it's not Nintendo pushing tight deadlines. You're in love with this narrative that Nintendo is a hardassed publisher who bullies the devs they contract like they're fucking EA or Activision, when they're nothing like the western giants we know.
If Nintendo told GF "no" to a delay, GF could simply stop making games. It would be a huge waste, but they could cash out their entire stake in the IP and go their separate ways. They won't because it's too big of a money maker. Their stake in TPC means they get wealthy off the franchise, too. Whether it's through worth that TPC accumulates or dividends.
>Delaying for GF isn't as easy as you think it is.Anime has had several blatant filler arcs made in service to delaying for GF, your point is retarded. If GF can't tell when they're in need of delays in time for the anime to adjust, that just speaks to their incompetence.
>>47797535Speaking of incompetence!
>it's no fucking surprise that the tiny internal games made by Game Freak don't have development issuesThis is a flat out lie, every original IP GF has tried Harmoknigtht has been a hot mess. Tembo is INFAMOUS for being a buggy piece of shit, which is a blatant indicator of development troubles. Little Town Hero ain't much better, either.
If anything, their non-Pokemon IPs speak volumes to how terrible the studio actually is.
