Pokemon is the first video game I ever played. I started playing in about 1999. I was four years old. Ever since third gen I have known that there is a one in 8192 chance for a pokemon to have a different color scheme. People liked to call these mutant pokemon 'shinies'. I was envious of people who would show off their shinies on forums and such. Fast foward to 20-almost-15 and I wanted to breed a Gardevoir after getting a ralts in wonder trade. Unfortunately, I did not have any male amorphous pokemon with good IVs to breed with the Ralts. So i decided to go on /wfg/ and ask for a gastly to start breeding. I thought to myself, 'Hmm, as long as I'm at it, i might as well breed a gengar.' I did, and i eventually got a pair of 5iv gastlys to breed. I let them fool around for a few hours, and after getting dozens of eggs, i decide to pull them out of the day care. I had one egg left to hatch.
Then this happened.
It took me 15 years.
Gonna go check IVs now. I'll be the happiest man in the world if this is 5iv.
