It's cutting out an inconvenient loading screen for something fresh that makes sense to keep the multiplayer flow going, especially since they're advertising that as a real feature this time. Instead of having some jank like your animal crossing houses having their own loading screen that breaks the rather seamless flow of the game when with friends, this'll make it so all of you can use it at the same time without any interference or janky cramping through doors.
