>Would you prefer if GF gave every pokemon a shiny palette, or retconned some existing shinies and replaced them?I wouldn't mind it, since they're kind of doing it using alolan forms and they've changed certain shinies in the past such as the orange gyarados in the fire red and leaf green versions.
While new shiny palettes would be cool, it would however be a pain in the ass since if you're shiny hunting, you could potentially wind up with the one shiny variation that you weren't going for and either start the hunt over or move onto something else. In all honesty I'd prefer something along the lines of crossbreeding the pokemon has physical traits similar to both of its parents instead of being a perfect copy of its mother.
